Public Meeting On Fletcher Avenue Proposed Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Improvements

This public meeting will discuss proposed pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements along Fletcher Avenue from Nebraska Avenue to 50th Street.

A safety study of the corridor was completed in June 2011, and the County is seeking input on proposed designs. Proposed improvements include a new sidewalk from Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to 50th Street, pedestrian refuge islands, mid-block pedestrian crossings, bicycle lanes, and roadway re-surfacing.
