On July 1, 2013, the Florida Wind Band will be performing
their annual Salute to America concert, this year entitled “By the Dawn’s Early Light.” The program will contain music that honors our country, our service men and women, and the impending 237th birthday of America. During the concert, a special salute to those who have
served in the military will be performed by the band, and appropriately patriotic music from the span of the two plus centuries of this land will be presented. The Florida Wind Band is a professional-level concert band that has
become known as one of the finest adult bands in the United States. They are proudly affiliated with the University of South Florida School of Music.
