USF’s Patel School of Global Sustainability and the Florida Earth Foundation are teaming up for Water Choices IV.

The event will focus on the role of public-private partnerships in solving Florida's water challenges.

Water Choices IV is the latest in a series of discussions that have focused on water policy, infrastructure, law, regulation, land use and best practices. Previous Water Choices events have taken place at University of Miami, University of Central Florida and the University of North Florida. The event will feature experts from around the state who actively explore water crisis solutions with participants.

Water Choices IV will build on conversations from past sessions and event managers will engage former participants by live streaming and live blogging the proceedings.

This session will create a collaborative environment where participants actively discuss and propose ways to solve Florida’s water challenges along with industry leaders from around the state, including Steve Seibert, former Senior Vice President for the Collins Center for Public Policy and Florida Trend journalist Cynthia Barnett,  author of  Mirage and Blue Revolution. Other experts include Florida Next Foundation chair Alex Sink, representatives from the Tampa Bay Estuary Program, Tampa Bay Water and The Mosaic Company.
