Family and friends gathered at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Temple Terrace Thursday, July 18, to say their final goodbyes to Helen C. Coriale during a Mass Mass in which her grandson, Deacon Matt Coriale, assisted.
The Temple Terrace resident died Monday, July 15 at the age of 92.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1920, in Richmond, Va., to Peter Paul and Mary Steucek Morawski, the eighth of 10 children.
She married Sam Coriale on May 6, 1941, and they had five children.

Together they successfully built a restaurant venture followed by an appliance business in their home town. Coriale was a former resident of Natrona Heights, Pa., for more than 40 years. A member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, she enjoyed Scrabble, crossword puzzles, game shows, sewing, gardening and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her children: David Coriale (Mary Lou), Carol Crow, Thomas Coriale (Nancy), Janet Ritchie (Richard) and Michael Coriale; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and nine sisters and brothers.
