
Four-time Grammy Award-winner David Holt is a musician, storyteller, historian, television host and entertainer, dedicated to performing and preserving traditional American music and stories. Holt plays 10 acoustic instruments and has released numerous award-winning recordings of traditional mountain music and southern folktales. He currently hosts public television’s Folkways, and the PBS series Great Scenic Railways. Previous appearances include Hee Haw, Nashville Now, and the Grand Ole Opry among others, as well as the film O Brother Where Art Thou. He will be joined by Grammy nominee, Josh Goforth, for a down-home romp through finger-pickin’ tunes from the American folk songbook.
