Lessons and Carols for All Saints'

St. Catherine of Alexandria Episcopal Church in Temple Terrace
is excited to announce a special service on Sunday October 27th, at
5 p.m.  – A Service of Lessons and Carols for The Feast of All Saints

This service, modeled after the famous Christmas Lessons and
Carols, features scripture readings ranging from Isaiah to Daniel, from Ezekiel
to The Book of Revelation, from The Letter to the Hebrews to the Gospel of
Matthew. The choir will sing a collection of anthems and spirituals as
wide-ranging as “Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel” and Faure’s “Pie Jesu”.
The congregation and choir will sing well-known hymns for The Feast
of All Saints such as “I sing a song of the saints of God” and “For all the
Saints”.  Join us in this celebration of our connection to that great
cloud of witnesses that has gone before us.  A free-will offering will be
taken for special music at St. Catherine’s.
