Man Shot At Tampa Apartment Complex Dies

TAMPA, FL — As the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a Tuesday shooting that occurred in an apartment complex in Tampa, the victim has died.

According to the agency, the man, who has not yet been identified, died from his injuries early Wednesday morning. The shooting took place around 4:02 p.m. Tuesday at the Del Rio Apartments, 6804 N. 50th St.

Deputies say the victim and suspect got into an argument at the complex, which is located a few blocks from King High School. At some point, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times, an email from the sheriff’s office stated.

Deputies are still following leads in the case. They ask that anyone with information about the suspect or suspects contact them at 813-247-8200.
