We are very blessed as a congregation to have a new, dynamic interim pastor coming on board starting June 23, 2013.The Rev. David Garnett has been an ordained Presbyterian pastor for 24 years. He was educated at the University of Washington in Seattle and at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He is a second career pastor, having worked previously as an auditor both for the State of Alaska in Juneau and for the US Navy in Bangor, WA. He served as an installed pastor at a church in Knoxville, TN for 20 years, and has served as an interim pastor for the last few years. He served his last interim pastorate at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Tampa, and did another interim before that at a church in Sarasota.
