Video Shows North Tampa Armed Robbery Suspects
Police are looking for help to identify the suspects.
The Tampa Police Department has released a video that shows two suspects in a March 24 armed robbery. Now, they need your help to identify the men shown on film.
The video captures the suspects at the Gas Quik convenience story, 1501 E. Fowler Ave., as they were using the victim’s debit card to remove money from an ATM, Tampa police said in a media release. It shows one suspect withdrawing money and captures the second suspect for only a few brief moments.
The robbery itself took place around 9:15 p.m. March 24. According to Tampa police, the suspects were riding bikes southbound on 22nd Street near Fowler Avenue. They pulled alongside the victim, who was also on a bike. One man pointed a gun at the victim and demanded money.

The first suspect is described as a black male between the age of 18 and 20. He is about 6 feet tall, has a slender build and was wearing a black shirt, khaki long shorts and had a large diamond earring in one ear. He also had short beard growth and was wearing a white, green and black cap with a possible team logo on the front in red writing.
The second suspect is also a black male between age 18 and 20. He is described as being between 6-foot, 2-inches and 6-foot, 4-inches in height. He also has a slender build and was last seen wearing long camouflage shorts and a white tank top. This suspect had a bright purple cap tucked into the waistband of his pants. The coloring is similar to a Minnesota Vikings color purple, police say.
