Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect
Authorities say the man used a note to demand money Friday from the SunTrust Bank on North 56th Street in Temple Terrace, then struck another Tampa-area bank.
Law enforcement officials are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say robbed two banks Friday, including a SunTrust Bank in Temple Terrace.
The suspect entered the bank at 6925 N. 56th St. at 10:40 a.m. Friday and handed the teller a note demanding money, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.
A short while later, investigators say, the same man robbed another SunTrust Bank, at 601 Platt St. W. in the City of Tampa.

The sheriff's office and Tampa Police Department are asking for help in identifying the suspect. He is described as a 25- to 30-year-old male, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10, weighing 160 to 180 pounds with a medium build. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, light blue cargo shorts, a beaded-style necklace and white tennis shoes. His image was captured on surveillance video footage.
