Reward Offered in Hotel Armed Robbery

Police are looking for the two men responsible for robbing the Baymont Inn Monday morning.

TAMPA, FL – As Tampa Police officers continue their search for two men accused of robbing the Baymont Inn at gunpoint Monday, Crime Stoppers has stepped forward with a $3,000 reward in the case.

The crime in question occurred around 1:57 a.m. at the 3001 University Center Drive hotel. According to police, two men walked into the hotel. One of the men pulled a gun on the night clerk while the other helped himself to cash by jumping the counter and accessing the drawer.

Once they had cash in hand, the men fled the scene. Police say no vehicles were heard leaving the parking lot.

A video of the crime has since been released.
