Reward Posted For Information On Tampa Gunman

Hillsborough County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help to identify two people involved in a shooting in Tampa Jan. 22.

TAMPA, FL – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify two people involved in a shooting in Tampa Jan. 22.

A surveillance video from 6:17 p.m. Jan. 22 shows two men watching three other people who were standing at the corner of 50th Street and Knollwood Place.

One of the men removed a handgun from his pants and fired several shots at the group of three people. They were able to escape without injury.

The two men fled east behind a business plaza heading toward the Del Rio Apartment complex.

One is described as a black man with a medium complexion and twists in his hair. He was last seen wearing a red beanie cap, white T-shirt, red pants, white socks and black slides.

The second man is a black male with a dark complexion last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and white sneakers.

The two men should be considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the men. Anyone with any information who wants to be eligible for a cash reward should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online, or send a mobile tip using the P3 Tips Mobile application.
