Riverhills Shooting Suspect Still On the Lam

Police are looking for help identifying him.

The Temple Terrace Police Department is looking for some help identifying a man they say shot another on Riverhills Drive Thursday night.

The incident happened as the 22-year-old male victim was walking in the 5400 block around 5:50 p.m. Police say a maroon vehicle pulled up to the victim and a man got out. That man then got into a fight with the victim and proceeded to shoot him.

The shooter then got back into the car and drove away.

The victim ran to the area of 50th Street and Riverhills Drive where he was able to flag down an officer for help. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital for treatment of what police describe as a superficial wound. His identity is not being released at this time.

Detectives don’t have much to go on at this point in regard to the shooter’s identity. They say he is a black male who stands about 6 feet tall and has a medium build.
