Roaches Found at Sawatdee Thai Cuisine
The restaurant is temporarily closed after a safety and sanitation inspection March 5.

Sawatdee Thai Cuisine has temporarily closed following a March 5 safety and sanitation inspection by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
According to a report from the department, the Thai restaurant had 36 violations, including live and dead roaches.
The inspection uncovered 49 live roaches, most coming from a hole in the wall next to the ice machine, the report states. There were also 60 dead roaches on the premises.

Sawatdee will remain closed until the violations are corrected, according to the report.

The department previously performed a routine inspection at the restaurant on Sept. 10. At that time, Sawatdee met inspection standards, according to the report from that inspection.
