2 Suspects in Custody Following Armed Robbery
A Busch Boulevard Subway was robbed Tuesday evening.

The Tampa Police Department announced late Tuesday evening that it had two suspects in custody following an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant on Busch Boulevard. Officers have also recovered a firearm and evidence from the crime, according to an email to media from the agency.
Police say one of the suspects was bitten by a K-9 during apprehension and suffered minor puncture wounds.
According to the agency, the restaurant at 2602 E. Busch Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint sometime before 10:46 p.m. No injuries were reported, but police set up an active perimeter to find the suspects.
