The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking area residents to keep their eyes open for a girl who has been missing since Friday.

According to deputies, Tekeyah Aleshia Kendrick, 15, left her home on Society Drive in Tampa around 11 a.m. that day and hasn’t been seen since.
“This is not typical behavior for Tekeyah Kendrick,” the sheriff’s office noted in an email to media.

Kendrick is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jean shorts when she left her home near King High School.
Anyone with information about Kendrick’s whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), going online to www.crimestopperstb.com or texting “CSTB plus your tip” to C-R-I-M-E-S (274637).
