Teen Critically Injured in Shooting
The incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday on Whiteway Avenue.
TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 14-year-old Saturday evening.
According to the agency, a call same in shortly after 5:30 p.m. from 4611 E. Whiteway Avenue. A teenager was transported to a local hospital with injuries that have been described as life threatening.
Witnesses were being interviewed by police Saturday evening. Policy say there is no danger to area residents, but are releasing no further information at this time, including the victim’s name.
