Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club Changes Management

An Orlando-based company will now oversee operations of the historic club and course.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL β€” One of Florida’s most iconic golf clubs is officially under new management.

Integrity Golf Company of Orlando took over operations at Temple Terrace Golf & County Club Wednesday following a Jan. 31 membership vote and follow-up approval by the Temple Terrace City Council.

The Temple Terrace course is the second Florida golf course ever placedΒ on the National Register of Historic Places. Temple Terrace’s original developers hired Scottish-born Tom Bendelow to design the course, which opened with nine holes in 1922. By 1923, a full 18-hole course was ready for play. Covering more than 6,600 yards, the course was one of the state’s biggest at the time.
