Temple Terrace police officer assists with Dog Rescue

A big thank you goes out to officer j Palmerton, when an injured dog was found, dehydrated and very frightened in our neighborhood, animal service emergency was called, they said we will be right out, they never showed up, this morning the dog who was very frightened was still here and we were not able to approach it, we called TT police, policeOfficer Palmerton was here and took charge calling animal services, as again, the dog was sedated and taken for medical care.  I called the Director of animal services, new director, I should say Ian Hallett and talked to him, he was very nice and said they are making changes and the issue would be addressed, I appreciate the call back.  I realize he is trying, but the animal was hurt and needed attention, thanks again to our Temple Terrace Police, and good luck Mr Hallett, we hope those changes come about soon, keep trying.
