Most elementary and middle schools in Temple Terrace either maintained or dropped their letter grades compared to last year, according to 2010-11 Florida School Grades data released by the state Department of Education June 30.

Riverhills Elementary and Mount Pleasant Standard Based Middle, a charter school in Tampa, were the only two Hillsborough schools to receive F’s this year, according to the data.
Grades are based on scores from the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT), which tests students in reading, writing, math and science. Academic standards were raised this year.
Data for and is pending, as high school grades will be released in November. Last year, both schools received A grades.
