Temple Terrace Shooting Victim Dies
The 31-year-old man was shot Wednesday morning while police believe he on his way home from the Lazy Brew Bar & Grill.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — The 31-year-old gunshot victim who was found by a passerby Wednesday morning has died from his injuries, Temple Terrace Police announced.
Police say Kagan Dane McFarland died at Tampa General Hospital Thursday afternoon. McFarland was found around 7 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby in the parking lot of Coca-Cola Enterprises, 5901 E. Fowler Ave.
Police say McFarland had been shot several times. The investigation into his death is now being classified as a murder investigation.

“Based on preliminary investigation, police believe McFarland was walking home from Lazy Brew Bar & Grill, 11401 N. 56th St., at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday when the incident occurred,” an email from the police department stated. Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the alley behind CiCi’s Pizza, 5771 E. Fowler Ave.
