The Sound Of A Mother's Grief Echos Through Tragic Scene

It's a situation everyone hoped would turn out better than it did. Video from the scene captures the disturbing screams of a mother whose 2-year-old son was found dead in the Hillsborough River, west of Temple Terrace. The video is of mother Alicia Sanders and is posted on Tampabay.com.

The body of Armani Pierce, 2, was recovered by Tampa Police divers Wednesday morning in the Hillsborough River.

The search for the boy started on the night of Aug. 13, after football practice at Temple Crest Park, 8116 N. 37th St.

According to Tampabay.com,"Armani's mother, Alicia Sanders, 24, could be heard wailing, 'Oh, my baby' as family, friends and searchers cried with her."

The family was at the park because the boy's brother, 6, plays on the football team that was practicing there. Also his 4-year-old sister is a cheerleader, according to TBO.com.
