That tough schedule included dates with state-ranked No. 1 and No. 3 teams in Armwood and Plant. Plant City (7-3) and Newsome (6-4) were also very tough encounters this year.
Friday's game with the Eagles is an interesting matchup. The Titans have a strong running game behind senior running back Clunder Lacount (945 yards and five touchdowns rushing, 442 yards and three TDs receiving), but they can also throw the ball well with senior quarterback Aaron Midthus (91 completions for 1,236 yds and nine TDs).
