Video Shows Possible Witness To Murder, Police Say

Temple Terrace Police would like to speak with a bicyclist who was seen riding in the area where Kagan Dane McFarland was shot in April.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — As Temple Terrace Police continue to search for clues in the April 13 shooting death of Kagan Dane McFarland, they’re turning to the public for help.

The agency on Friday released a video that shows a person riding a bicycle near the scene of the shooting. The bicyclist was seen riding through the Coca-Cola Enterprises parking lot at 5901 E. Fowler Ave. shortly before 1 a.m. That is approximately the same time McFarland is said to have left the Lazy Brew Bar & Grill.

“McFarland attempted to take a shortcut through the alley behind CiCi’s Pizza, 5771 E. Fowler Ave., when he was shot multiple times,” the agency wrote in an email to media.
