Viewfinder: Goddard Attempts 'Simon Says' Record
Kids at The Goddard School in Temple Terrace joined Goddard Schools around the nation in a game of Simon Says Friday.
On Friday, Simon Says transformed from a beloved childhood game to a a world record attempt at Goddard Schools across the country.
Children in Temple Terrace and around the nation simultaneously participated in a Simon Says game. The goal was to break the Guinness Book record for the largest game.
In Temple Terrace, a thunderstorm forced the kids to move inside. School officials said they won't know if the record was broken for a couple weeks.

Brad Toston, owner of the Temple Terrace franchise, said the staff had to follow the procedures and certification requirements from the Guinness Book organization so that the game would be valid.
Temple Terrace Police Chief Kenneth Albano was the official witness reporting back to Guinness. Other witnesses included: Rachel Haviland, New Tampa Chamber of Commerce president, and two representatives from Tampa Park and Recreation.
