Woman Robbed Outside Temple Terrace Post Office

Temple Terrace Police are looking for some help identifying a man it says robbed a woman outside the post office Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred around 9:10 a.m. in the 8700 block of North 56th Street. Police say the woman got out of her car outside of the post office and was approached by a man with a gun.

The man demanded money and took off with the woman’s purse. Shortly after the robbery, the man used the victim’s credit cards at several locations outside Temple Terrace, an email to media from the police department stated.

The woman was uninjured in the attack.

The suspect police are looking for is described as a black male about 20 to 25 years old. He stands 6 feet tall, has a thin build and a tattoo on his right cheek.
