Young Elite Professionals Meet at Embassy Suites

The 's Young Elite Professionals (YEP) met Tuesday at the .

The group is made up of chamber professionals ages 21 to 40, and , the chamber's administrative assistant, said the turnout of about a dozen people was good for the first meeting of 2012.

Tice said the chamber would like to bring new programs and networking activities to YEP events this year. Those who attend the monthly meetings will also be asked to pay a fee or bring a donation for a local non-profit organization. At Tuesday's meeting for example, attendees were asked to pay $5 or bring paper towels or ground coffee to donate to the .

The next YEP event will take place Feb. 7 at from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
