Parking lots open at 4 p.m., doors at 5:30, openers start at 7, and McGraw is expected onstage around 8:30, with clear-bag rules, paid parking options, and lawn-chair rentals available at the venue.
2. West Palm Beach Asian Night Market 2026 (jupiterdaily.com) — Downtown West Palm Beach is hosting a free three-day Asian Night Market at Centennial Square this weekend, running daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Through September 27, you can sample Asian foods, desserts, and drinks, browse night-market-style shopping, and enjoy live music, karaoke, and cultural performances in a family-friendly setting right on Clematis Street.
3. Brightline trains will keep running as some affiliated companies file for bankruptcy protection (wpbf.com) — If you rely on Brightline from West Palm Beach, your trains will keep running normally even as some affiliated companies enter Chapter 11 to restructure debt and raise new financing. The operator itself hasn't filed for bankruptcy, and service between Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando is expected to continue while the company works through court-supervised changes and eyes a future expansion to Tampa.
4. Fake pay stubs and rental fraud: What Florida's new law means for tenants, landlords (cw34.com) — If you rent or own property around West Palm Beach, a new Florida law taking effect Oct. 1 will make using fake IDs or doctored pay stubs to secure a lease a felony and allow landlords to terminate such tenancies with seven days' notice. The change, highlighted by a West Palm Beach attorney and Palm Beach County fraud case, adds criminal penalties but still requires landlords to follow formal eviction procedures.
5. Florida congressman proposes warrant requirement for Flock camera data (cbs12.com) — West Palm Beach residents should know a new federal proposal could change how agencies tap into systems like the city's broader police camera network. Rep. Greg Steube's bill would require warrants for many uses of networked license plate readers and could tie local eligibility for federal justice grants to adopting similar privacy safeguards, amid a wider statewide debate over surveillance and safety.
