Bicyclist Suffers Fatal Fall From Opening Draw Bridge: Police

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — A woman fell to her death Sunday afternoon when the Royal Park Bridge opened while she was on it, according to West Palm Beach police.
The woman was walking her bike across the bridge when it opened, causing her to fall through an opening, according to authorities. The bridge was closed for six hours Sunday afternoon and evening while police investigated.
The woman fell about five or six stories, landing on concrete. A bystander tried to keep her from falling but to no avail, police told Fox 4.
