Katherine Hofmann’s work emerges from a process of burying, excavating, tangling, and detangling, unearthing memories through painting. Her large-scale works on paper, made with experimental watercolor, natural pigments, and handmade collage, trace water’s flow and stillness while weaving personal encounters into layered landscapes bound to place and time.
