Lifetime Kitchen, located on the second floor at The Mall at Wellington Green, is whipping up something delicious this fall with “Baking with Ankarsrum,” a fun, interactive day of mixing, baking, and yummy sampling on Friday, September 18.
An interactive baking class led by local baker, Heather Portnoy, kicks off at 11 a.m. Portnoy will introduce guests to the fundamentals of the iconic Ankarsrum mixer while guiding them through an easy-to-make banana bread recipe. Afterward, guests will enjoy the fruits of their labor and take home a complimentary Nordic Ware mini bundt charms pan to recreate their sweet creations at home.

Later that afternoon, Portnoy returns for a trio of chocolate chip cookie demos at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. Guests can watch the baking process in action, pick up helpful tips, and enjoy free freshly baked cookies.
