City Of West Palm Beach To Host Free Tree Giveaway On April 24

The City of West Palm Beach is giving away FREE trees to City of West Palm Beach residents and business owners. The tree giveaway event is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (during the GreenMarket) at Centennial Square, located at 100 S. Clematis Street. An application is required. More than a dozen species of native trees are being offered. Residents may select up to two trees per giveaway, or four annually.

How to receive your FREE tree:

• Visit wpb.org/10ktrees. Review the trees being offered and guidance about how and where to properly plant your tree. Then, submit your application. Applications will be accepted through Thursday, April 22, 2021.

• The City’s Office of Sustainability will process your application.
• You will receive an email informing you if your application is approved.
• On April 24th, come pick up your trees!

Plant a new tree and help us reach our goal of planting 10,000 trees by 2025. This program, an initiative of the City of West Palm Beach Office of Sustainability, reflects the City’s partnership with its residents and businesses to beautify our neighborhoods, sustain the health of existing trees, and increase the city’s shade canopy.
