Creating Special Spaces for children with Illnesses

Last year, Hanna was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and is currently receiving chemo and radiation treatments every two weeks. Recently, Hanna and her family had to move to a one-story home, because she could no longer climb stairs in their two-story home due to her illness.

Special Spaces in Boca Raton is planning a beautiful, restful bedroom for her, a place to go to when she gets home from the hospital, a place to heal and recover. Special Spaces is transforming children’s existing bedrooms into a places of hope. A place to spend time away from the challenges of their illness.

During the summer months (June, July and August), State Farm agent Chris McCafferty is teaming up with Special Places through the State Farm Quotes for Good program to help create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening illnesses of cancer, heart conditions, brain tumors and organ transplants. For each person who contacts Chris’ office seeking an auto, life or health insurance quote, and mentions Special Spaces, Chris will donate $10 per quote to Special Spaces.
