Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Celebrates Five Years of Rock the Noc with Biggest Festival Yet

Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida recently hosted the fifth annual Rock the Noc family festival at the historic Camp Nocatee in Clewiston. More than 200 Girl Scouts, their families and volunteers turned out for an afternoon of live music, hands-on outdoor adventures and creative expression, making it the most celebrated Rock the Noc to date.

Guests took part in action-packed activities including archery, hatchet throwing, slingshots, hiking and campfire s'mores along with carnival-style games and crafts. A Hawaiian shaved ice truck served up shaved ice, hot dogs, chicken tenders and Frito pies, a crowd-pleasing addition that had attendees lining up throughout the afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the energy at Founder's Hall surged with a spirited karaoke session before DJ Darren took the stage at Commons Area, electrifying the crowd with a high-energy set that kept the celebration going.

"Rock the Noc is more than a festival. It's a celebration of what Girl Scouts is all about," said Lisa Johnson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. "Five years in, this event has become something truly special for our community."

This annual event reflects Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida's broader mission to empower girls through adventure, leadership and community connection, values that are at the heart of everything that happens at Camp Nocatee year-round.
