Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. to open new attended donation center in West Palm Beach

PALM BEACHES/TREASURE COAST, Fla. – On Friday, February 27, Goodwill Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast – a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. – will open the Goodwill Village Commons Attended Donation Center (ADC). This location offers yet another convenient place for community members to donate gently-used goods.

The Village Commons ADC (901 Village Blvd., West Palm Beach) will feature a drive-thru for greater convenience. This location will create three full-time jobs to ensure excellent customer service during operating hours, which will be 8 a.m.-8 p.m. every day.

“Every donation dropped off at a Goodwill attended donation center fuels more than three hours of job training and opportunities, directly helping our team members to build job skills and achieve economic stability,” said Donn Githens, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. “By donating, community members enable us to create job opportunities and help our neighbors build brighter futures.”

ADCs play a crucial role in supporting Goodwill’s mission of “Changing Lives Through the Power of Work.” Each donation of gently-used goods dropped off at a Goodwill ADC or store supports jobs and job skills training for all of its team members, nearly 60 percent of whom have self-identified barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, older adults, and those who have been justice-involved.

Goodwill’s retail operations offer a second life for a wide variety of items – from clothing, shoes and accessories, and household goods to sporting goods, books and art – in new homes, supporting a more sustainable future while offering community members a fun and affordable shopping experience. In 2025, over 51 million pounds of donated goods in the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast territory found new homes through Goodwill’s retail operations and items that couldn’t be sold – such as e-waste, like old electronics that could not be refurbished – were recycled appropriately.
