Impact the Palm Beaches Announces Finalists

Impact the Palm Beaches is a philanthropic organization where women unite to collectively give to nonprofits throughout Central and Northern Palm Beach County. On April 14, Impact the Palm Beaches announced the $100,000 Grant Finalists during a special cocktail event hosted at the beautiful Manatee Lagoon, presented by Florida Power and Light (FPL).

Impact the Palm Beaches has 318 members this season and will award three $100,000 Impact Grants and two Impact Merit Grants at the nonprofit’s 11^th Annual Impact Awards Celebration on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the West Palm Beach Marriott.

Impact the Palm Beaches is excited to announce the five Impact Grant finalists are: Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. (Project: Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories™ (RTM) Therapy; College for Kids, Inc. (dba Take Stock in Children PBC) (Project: TradeUp! College, Career & Trades Readiness Program); Florida Outreach Center for the Blind, Inc. (Project: Promoting Independent Living for Blind and Visually Impaired People); St. Ann Place Outreach Center (Project: Jupiter Outreach Program); and The Glades Initiative, Inc. (Project: Refrigeration Unit and Salary for New Staff Member).

“After six months of diligent review, our volunteer Grants Committee brings its final funding recommendations to the full membership,” said Nancy Feiwel and Melissa Haley, 2025-2026 Co-Presidents of Impact the Palm Beaches. “This collaborative process embodies the essence of Impact—empowering women to come together and create meaningful, transformational change in our local community.”

Impact the Palm Beaches received almost 40 Letters of Intent from area nonprofits in September 2025, when the 2025-2026 grant process began. Through a comprehensive process that included a review of LOIs, invitations and review of full proposals, and site visits, the committee thoughtfully narrowed the group to the five finalists.

Since its founding in 2015, Impact the Palm Beaches has awarded over $2 million in grants to local nonprofits that are making a significant difference in Palm Beach County.

The 11^th Annual Impact the Palm Beaches Awards Celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the West Palm Beach Marriott. This exciting evening is where the finalists present their proposal to Impact members, who then vote to determine who will receive their $100,000 grants and merit awards. Impact 100 is a worldwide organization with more than 80chapters and steadily growing. Their motto is "One Woman, One Meeting, One Vote.” It is designed for women who wish to find an efficient and collaborative means of creating transformational change in their community. Women can become as involved as they wish in the process.
