NeuroRhythms 2026: Educating and Inspiring Action in Parkinson’s and Brain Health (Mind, Music, Movement Foundation)
The Mind, Music, & Movement Foundation for Neurological Disorders, Inc. (M3F) announces NeuroRhythms 2026: Educating and Inspiring Action in Parkinson’s and Brain Health, its sixth annual symposium dedicated to advancing understanding, awareness, and care for neurological disorders. The event will feature guest of honor and keynote speaker Michael S. Okun, M.D., a world-renowned authority in Parkinson’s research and care.
Hosted by M3F, NeuroRhythms 2026 will take place Monday, March 9, 2026, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Florida Atlantic University, 5353 Parkside Dr., Jupiter, FL 33458. The free public event brings together experts in neurology, music therapy, movement, and brain research for an evening of education, conversation, and inspiration.

Dr. Okun is Director of the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health, Medical Director and Advisor to the Parkinson’s Foundation, and a board-certified neurologist and neuroscientist. He recently co-authored the New York Times and USA Today bestseller The Parkinson’s Plan: A New Path to Prevention and Treatment, which explores proactive strategies and environmental factors driving the rise of Parkinson’s disease, key themes of NeuroRhythms 2026.
Joining Dr. Okun are nationally recognized innovators whose work reflects the interdisciplinary mission of M3F:
l David Leventhal, Program Director and founding teacher of the Mark Morris Dance Group’s Dance for PD® program
l Brian Harris, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of MedRhythms, a digital therapeutics company using music to improve neurological function
l Dr. Corinne Lasmézas, Director of the David and Lynn Nicholson Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research at the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute
Together, the panel will explore how rhythm, movement, and music are shaping new approaches to Parkinson’s care and brain health, while offering practical insights that support quality of life for individuals, caregivers, and families.
