Parents, rejoice! The at-home backyard splash park has arrived

Made by parent entrepreneurs, Splash2o is an affordable but reliable splash pad to keep kids cool and having fun. Pre-orders are open

In the hot, summer months, parents have just a few options to keep kids entertained and outdoors at home away from screens. Many homes don’t have the space or budget for a dedicated pool and the options for at-home water toys or splash pads are either cheap and flimsy or ultra custom and expensively priced. So parents have to pack up their kids, bathing suits, snacks, sunscreen, towels and more and head out to a public park or friend’s house. Especially with young children who nap, this is often more trouble than it’s worth and can be stressful for mom or dad.

The founders of Splash2o (Splash-two-oh) are trying to solve this problem by avoiding packing, car rides and nap interruption altogether. The world's first portable at-home splash pad, with an industrial design built to match the splash pads available at public parks, Splash2o gives families a long-lasting solution for outdoor water fun at home.

  • With a flexible and collapsible design, Splash2o features a click to connect setup and folds down to store in indoors.
  • Splash2o lets users choose from up to eight water stations for a customized play experience, including bucket pouring, cannon blaster, shower stream, a misting station, several fun sprinkler designs and more.
  • The adjustable center pole can be raised from three to six feet so it can grow alongside the children who are playing.

Splash2o was founded by Boca Raton locals, Carol and David Ertur to help keep their small kids occupied on hot days without messing up the youngest's nap schedule. David, an engineer by trade who has worked on consumer products like Mr. Coffee, Calphalon and Sunbeam, was more and more encouraged every time he showed his prototype to friends and family. "As parents, we know that families enjoy splash and water parks. So we've created an easy, convenient and more affordable solution to bring the experience to their backyard. Our kids love it and so do their friends - we know we’ve built something very special.”

Splash2o is available for pre-order now on Indiegogo starting at under $300 - and remember, this is a crowdfunding campaign, so it may take longer to ship than your average product. But with products made in the USA from a true mom + pop shop, it might be worth putting your order in and be the envy of the neighborhood in 2020.
