Port St. Lucie Students Donate Pajamas to Local Children in Need
Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Port St. Lucie collected more than 150 pairs of pajamas for Treasure Coast Foster Closet

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Port St. Lucie recently donated more than 150 pairs of pajamas to the Treasure Coast Foster Closet, a nonprofit organization that provides local foster families with like-new children’s items. Students also collected donations of diapers and toys for the organization. At the end of the collection, students prepared the donations for pick-up by a representative from Treasure Coast Foster Closet.
In addition to their pajama drive, Chesterbrook Academy students donated more than 450 pounds of nonperishable food items to House of Hope of Martin County to help provide meals to those in need. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.
