Earth Strong from R'DANE and ℗ Parkeytimeentertainment will be on the upcoming compilation Demo that Got the Deal Vol 6, an anthology of new music and interviews with major artists on how they got their major record deals. Conceived by producer Joe Viglione in 1991, the program was hosted by legendary Boston DJ Harvey Wharfield on WCGY 93.7 FM from 1991-1993. Viglione writes in the promo for this song "4 minutes and six seconds of smooth, cosmic elegance, R Dane introduces Hawkwind's sound into dance hall. Beautiful and exhilarating. "

Not only does musically perceptive R'Dane draw upon Hawkwind, I feel he draws upon Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac's The Green Manalishi period with Peter Green, and other spacey, exotic sounds mixed with his Jamaican style.

"Earth Strong" is so mesmerizing it does not feel like 4 minutes and 6 seconds. R'Dane's voice is smooth and authoritative - he tells the story slowly over precise and quite wonderful guitar work that embellishes the vocals as he amps up the tempo and the excitement.
