Scott Mazur and Diane Bain Ridley receive Forbes recognition
Scott Mazur, CFP®, CRPC®, and Diane Bain Ridley, CRPC®, of Merrill Lynch, were recently recognized on the Forbes "Best-In-State" list
Scott Mazur, CFP®, CRPC®, Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and Portfolio Manager, and Diane Bain Ridley CRPC®, Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and Portfolio Manager, co-founders of the BMR Wealth Management Group, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management were recently recognized on the Forbes "Best-In-State Wealth Advisors" list. The BMR Group, based in Palm Beach Gardens, delivers goals-based wealth management strategies for retirees, corporate executives and business owners.
Mazur has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Northwood University. In addition, he holds several industry specific designations, including a Certified Financial Planner certificate, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., and a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM℠ designation from the College for Financial Planning.
A Palm Beach County resident for more than 30 years, Mazur currently lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife, Dawn, and their two teenage sons. In addition to family time, he enjoys traveling, fishing, biking and running.

Bain Ridley, a graduate of the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, has been with Merrill Lynch since 1985. She also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM℠ designation from the College for Financial Planning. In addition to her recent Forbes recognition, Bain Ridley was named to Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors list in 2017.
She and her husband, Matthew, reside in Jupiter with their two children and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, reading, cooking and gardening, and is active in her community. Bain Ridley has taught Junior Achievement, is a founding member of Impact of the Palm Beaches, and along with Mazur, currently supports Forgotten Soldiers and The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation.

Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” ranking was developed by SHOOK Research and is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings to evaluate each advisor qualitatively, a major component of a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms.
