AT&T Volunteers Treat Place of Hope Children to a Day of Fun
Sun, smiles and laughter highlight the day
About 40 AT&T volunteers treated children from Place of Hope and their families to a day of fun over the holiday weekend.
The AT&T Cares event took place at PGA National Park in Palm Beach Gardens. About 75 people in all participated.
The kids and their families took part in several field day activities, including a soccer relay, football throw, egg toss, baseball relay, corn hole toss, and a soccer game.

They were treated to lunch from Chick-fil-A afterwards.
Place of Hope helps abused and neglected children and provides family-style foster care for them.

As part of its focus on community needs, AT&T gives employees a paid day off each year to volunteer in their communities.
In 2015 alone, AT&T employees and retirees nationwide volunteered 5.4 million hours.
