The program will continue through August.
July 14, 2020
The City of West Palm Beach continues to offer relief and assistance for residents who are dealing with the negative effects of COVID-19. Most recently, City employees recently teamed up with Living Hungry and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on July 8, 2020 to provide more than 41,000 pounds of donated food to organizations that support families in need of dietary assistance during this time. Volunteers loaded delivery vehicles with boxes of non-perishable food, fresh fruit and meats, all of which were supplied by the USDA and Simply Fresh. Nearly 2,800 boxes of food were provided to 45 organizations to distribute throughout at-risk communities.
