โ€œWe are so excited to finally inaugurate Home at Tamarind because of the significance it will play for six deserving individuals,โ€ said Mayor Keith A. James. โ€œNot only will this be a place to call home, but also this development will provide stability, renewed confidence and a sense of togetherness warmly shared among residents.โ€

With Mayor James, Dr. Carson toured Home at Tamarind. Dr. Carson also visited City Hall and toured the Cityโ€™s HUD assisted projects including Dr. Alice Moore Apartments (located at 335 27th Street) and The Palms (located at 906 15 Street).

โ€œI was thrilled to join the community to keep the positive momentum going with a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new โ€˜Home at Tamarind.โ€™ This ribbon cutting was a warm welcome for the West Palm Beach residents who will soon call this wonderful, new development home,โ€ said Secretary Ben Carson. โ€œThe multiple affordable housing developments in West Palm Beach are a testament to the near-limitless possibilities when the government and the private sector work together to achieve our shared goals.โ€
