1 Driver Killed In Crash On Anderson Road

WESTCHASE, FL -- One person was killed and another injured Friday night, Sept. 7 in a traffic crash on Anderson Road.

.Just before midnight, Richard William Draghi, 68, of Tampa, was driving his 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan south on Anderson Road south of Waters Avenue West in Tampa. Draghi crossed the center turning lane on Anderson Road, entering the path of Yusniel Rodriguez Nunez, 24, of Tampa, striking Nunez's 2014 Dodge Avenger head on in the right northbound lane.

Draghi died at the scene. Nunez was taken to St. Joseph's Main Hospital with minor injuries. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected factors in this crash. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles at the time of the crash.
