100 Best Places In Florida To Raise A Family

Just in time for Father’s Day, Niche.com took a look at the best places to raise a family in states across the country.

According to its rankings for Florida, Tampa Bay’s Hillsborough County offers more than a few possibilities. In fact, Westchase ranks No. 1 on the list overall with FishHawk coming in a close second. Sarasota, Pasco and Manatee county towns also made the list. Notably missing from the Top 100 are any towns within Pinellas County.

On the national listing, Devon, Pa., earned top honors. No Florida towns ranked in the country’s 100, according to Niche.com.

The lists were created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources, according to Niche.com's website.
