2 Fatal Crashes, Flooding Snarling North Hillsborough County Traffic

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — Motorists are being asked to avoid three separate intersections in north Hillsborough County Monday morning following two fatal crashes and reports of street flooding.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the intersection of Kelly Road and Memorial Highway is off limits following a two-vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality.

A vehicle versus fuel tanker crash that resulted in a fatality has also been reported at Linebaugh Avenue and Sheldon Road. The fuel was being transferred to a second tanker as of 10:40 a.m.

Street flooding has also been reported in the area of Linebaugh Avenue and Hesperides Street.

Motorists are being asked to find alternative routes.
