32 Tampa Bay AT&T Employees Honored for Their Commitment to the Community
AT&T is celebrating 32 employees from Tampa Bay being honored with the President's Volunteer Service Award.
It’s National Volunteer Month, and AT&T is celebrating 32 employees from Tampa Bay being honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).
The PVSA recognizes individuals who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism throughout the year. These AT&T employees in the Tampa Bay region are among 167 AT&T employees in Florida and more than 4,200 nationwide to receive this honor. They logged a minimum of 100 service hours last year, with many volunteering more than 500 hours.
"These individuals help our communities through selfless acts every day. Whether it’s mentoring students, cleaning up our parks or feeding the hungry, our employees are giving back," said Joe York, president of AT&T Florida. "In honor of National Volunteer Month, we congratulate these employees and hope their stories inspire others as much as they inspire us."
