Autumn Senior Living Plans New Community in Westchase

Project Brings Jobs & Premier Assisted Living and Memory Care Residences to Tampa

Autumn Senior Living, the Gulf Coast’s premier developer of assisted living communities, and Lindell Investments, Tampa’s leading real estate developer, have finalized plans to begin construction on a new assisted living and memory care campus on Countryway Boulevard in the heart of Westchase, Florida, Tampa’s most luxurious suburb. Tampa’s newest assisted living community, Autumn of Westchase, is set to break ground in the second quarter of 2016 with an expected completion in 2017. Autumn estimates the cost of the project at over $24 million.

Autumn of Westchase is designed in cooperation with the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, a leader in dementia research and care. The three-story campus will include two restaurants with the latest in Mediterranean and gluten-free cuisine choices, as well as everyone’s old favorites. Beyond 122 spacious apartments, Autumn will offer residents all the assistance with the activities of daily living, and a full range of physical and occupational therapy services.

Autumn of Westchase will create more than 60 professional jobs, including medical care providers, nurses, administrators and physical therapy specialists. The project will also provide many jobs in the local construction industry, from groundbreaking to grand opening.
