Beauty & Banter: 4 Ways to Look Chic and Pulled Together

Having a pulled together look during the day while running errands, meeting with friends, working, or even play dates doesn't need to require a lot of effort or time.

Being a mom has put a bit of a damper on my fashion choices, but that also has changed with getting older as well. I wouldn't change it for anything, but just because I am somebody's mother doesn't mean I have to sacrifice being a fashionista....right? All you need is a few ideas and the right accessories.

1. Keep Hair Sleek-Use a tight ponytail or topknot to keep hair up and out of your way in the hot and humid weather. If your hair is short:Try a  braid along your hair line and pin it back. Any hair style that keeps hair out of your face and out your way has a pulled together effect.

2. Accessories Need to Be Simple-A classic gold watch will carry you from day to night in a cinch. Think Gold-plated oversize stainless-steel chronograph watch by Micheal Kors. This watch is office appropriate and a piece that will always be apart of your wardrobe. It can be paired with any outfit day or night!

3. Wear a Great Looking Pair of Sunglasses-Wearing sunglasses not only protect your eyes from the sun, but also give an added accesorory especially when wearing nearly no makeup. Aviators or Rayban Wayfarer shapes flatter most face shapes and compliment most styles of clothing. If you would prefer a more glamours approach try something in a Jackio O style in black. Timeless and classic!

4. Minimalistic Makeup-Fuss free summer makeup is a big time saver during the summer months as well as a must have. Who wants to melt in the humidity in Florida? So...How about try a barely there powder with SPF 15 that actually makes your skin look better. Bareminerals powder and warmth bronzer is an essential to the minimal look. Add a peachy blush like Nars Cosmestics in Orgasm, a gold or taupe shadow, and two coats of waterproof volumizing mascara and your ready! Oh and a little bit of Loreal Paris' Watermelon Crush lip gloss to add a little extra color to your pout is highly recommended.
